Orange Blossom Jamboree: May 19-22
Located in Brooksville, the 2016 Orange Blossom Jamboree will feature over 40 hours of music from over 60 bands on four stages. The Orange Blossom Jamboree offers on-site camping, bon fires, drum circles and arts and crafts. Very few festivals will give you such a wide variety of great local music.
Country 500: May 27-29
Held at the famous Daytona International Speedway, this will be the first in what will probably be many years for the Country 500 Festival. Fans will have the opportunity to camp out on the infield, right at the heart of the festival. Noteworthy acts performing at the inaugural festival include Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum and Willie Nelson.
Sunset Music Festival: May 28-29
If country music isn’t your thing, we will have a great alternative right here in Tampa. The Sunset Music Festival will feature some of the best DJs performing today and several rising stars in dance music. Sunset offers hotel and ticket packages to help people traveling from out of the area save money on their trip.
Purple Hatters Ball: June 17-19
Held in Live Oak, the Purple Hatters Ball honors the memory of Rachel Morningstar Hoffman, who was killed while acting as a police informant in 2008. This year’s festival will offer more than just music. Festival attendees can enjoy healing and arts workshops, yoga, massages, hula hooping, painting and a silent disco.
