2017 F-150 Raptor Engine and Performance
Ford has designed the 2017 F-150 Raptor to be the ultimate off-road performance truck. The new Raptor will be equipped with an EcoBoost, 3.5-liter, turbocharged, V6 engine that will outperform the 411-hp, 6.2-liter V8 offered on previous models by almost 40 horsepower. The new engine will be paired with an all-new 10-speed transmission.
Utilizing a new aluminium body, the 2017 Raptor has slimmed down by 500 pounds from previous models. Other significant changes include the addition of 3.0-inch internal-bypass Fox Racing shocks and new 17-inch wheels with 35-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires.
