When and Where are the 2019 Department of Defense Warrior Games in Tampa FL?
As we mentioned in our introduction, the 2019 Department of Defense Warrior Games will be taking place right here in Tampa, FL. More specifically, the 2019 DoD Warrior Games are taking place at the Tampa Convention Center, which is located at 333 South Franklin Street in Tampa. Even more specifically, the 2019 Department of Defense Warrior Games are taking place from Friday, June 21, 2019, through Sunday, June 30, 2019.
Who is Participating in the 2019 Department of Defense Warrior Games in Tampa FL?
The 2019 Department of Defense Warrior Games is being put on by the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM). As mentioned earlier, the games are Paralympic style sporting events that will feature around 300 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans representing the United States Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Special Operations Command, and they will be joined by allies from the U.K. Armed Forces, Australian Defence Force, Canadian Armed Forces, Armed Forces of the Netherlands, and the Danish Armed Forces.
