Ford EcoBoost Engine Once Again International Engine of the Year
We recently told you about how Ford leapt up to second place in the 2017 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study, and one of the reasons for that impressive improvement is the advancements Ford has made to their EcoBoost engine technology. And that isn’t just being recognized here in the States. In fact, the Ford 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine has long been the leader in engine performance internationally. And that tradition is continuing for at least one more year as the Ford EcoBoost engine was once again named the International Engine of the Year, marking the sixth year in a row the engine has won the award.

Explaining the Greatness of the Ford 1.0-Liter EcoBoost Engine
So, let’s take a moment to look at all of the awards won so far by the Ford 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine. Not only has it won the International Engine of the Year Best Engine Under 1.0-Liters six years in a row, it’s also never lost when it’s been nominated. That includes 10 total International Engine of the Year awards and a “Best Newcomer” Award.

Ford EcoBoost engines can be found in a number of new Ford models, including the 2018 Ford Mustang, the 2018 Ford F-150, the 2018 Ford EcoSport, the 2018 Ford Edge SEL, the 2018 Ford Explorer and the 2018 Ford Expedition, among many other 2017 Ford models.
