Ford Receives High Marks for Conservation Initiatives

Ford is at the forefront of a lot of technological advancements throughout the automotive industry – from advanced new safety and driver assistance features to advanced new technology and connectivity systems to the self-driving cars of the future, Ford is doing it all. And they’re doing it all without putting the world we live in at risk. That’s because Ford has been working hard to keep its conservation and water security efforts as important as everything else it does. And Ford is now being recognized for those efforts, receiving high marks for its conservation initiatives.

How is Ford Being Honored for Their Conservation Efforts?

Ford has been honored quite a bit for their conservation efforts over the years, but the accolades are really rolling in now. That’s because Ford was recently awarded an A grade from the CDP, an environmental impact nonprofit that drives sustainable economies, for their water security efforts – a grade which pairs perfectly with the A- grade Ford was recently awarded by the CDP for its climate change efforts.

“Access to clean water is a fundamental human right. We know we play an integral role in establishing best practices to help protect the environment – both for Ford and our supply chain. Through our integrated approach to sustainability, our goal is to improve the lives of not only our customers, but communities around the world.” – Kim Pittel, Vice President, Sustainability, Environment and Safety Engineering, Ford Motor Company
