Ford to Donate $3.5 Million to Military Charities During Holiday Season

Today is Veterans Day – a day that holds a special place not only in our hearts here at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL, but in the hearts of all Americans. That’s because Veterans Day is the day we honor and thank those who chose to serve our great country by doing whatever it takes to protect our freedom and everything else we hold dear here in America. Veterans Day is also the day we get to announce that Ford is pledging to donate $3.5 million to military charities all over the country during the 2020 holiday season. We’ve always been proud to be a Ford dealer here at Brandon Ford, but things like this make us even prouder – which is exactly why we’re going to tell you all about these donations right here.

As we mentioned, Ford is pledging to donate $3.5 million to military charities throughout the country during the upcoming holiday season. These donations are part of the Ford Proud to Honor program, and will be made to seven military charities – Blue Star Families, Guitars for Vets, DAV, Workshops for Warriors, Oscar Mike, Bunker Labs and Boulder Crest Foundation. Each of these charities will receive $100 each time someone shares a post on social media proclaiming their pride in the United States military using the hashtag #proudtohonor.

“The need to honor veterans who have carried the torch of freedom extends well past Veterans Day. Ford’s Proud to Honor initiative has done a tremendous job to raise awareness of those who have served and helped water the seed of freedom.”

Ford Military Ambassador Col. Vanessa Benson, U.S. Army, Retired
