2017 Mustang Features and Options
The Mustang V6 checks in as the base trim level, but the sports car still offers a long list features and technologies. Ford has equipped the car with dual USB ports, keyless ignition and entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, rearview camera, limited-slip rear differential, LED taillights and automatic xenon headlights. Under the hood, this trim is powered by a 300-horsepower 3.7-liter V6.
The EcoBoost and GT trim levels come with the same collection of equipment as the base Mustang V6, but offer different engine options. The EcoBoost Mustang is powered by a turbocharged 310-horsepower four-cylinder engine. This engine maxes out the car’s fuel economy ratings at an estimated 22 city/31 highway miles per gallon. Mustang GT models are powered by a 435-horsepower 5.0-liter V8.
The EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium trim levels utilize these same two engines, but add to the list of features. These models come equipped with Ford’s Sync 3 infotainment system, dual-zone automatic climate control, selectable drive modes, heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, heated mirrors, a rear diffuser and a nine-speaker audio system.
