Powered by AT&T, this new 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot will be added to available SYNC Connect infotainment systems on select new Ford models beginning in the fall. How Many Devices can the New Ford 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot Support?
One of the most impressive capabilities of the new Ford 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot powered by AT&T is the fact that it can support up to 10 devices at a time. And, when you’re parked, those 10 devices can stay connected up to 50 feet away from your new Ford car, truck or SUV.
How Does the New Ford 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot Work?
The new Ford 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot is being added to the available SYNC Connect infotainment system. Thanks to this system and its SYNC 3 touchscreen, you’ll be able to monitor data usage, signal strength and connected devices with ease. You’ll also be able to block certain devices and change your settings. With this new hotspot, passengers will be able to stream music and videos, surf the web, send and receive emails, get directions and much, much more.
