Official Release Date for the Ford Focus RS
If there was ever any doubt that the Ford Focus RS is a fun and incredibly impressive performance car, let Ken Block change your mind for you. He can show you exactly why we can’t and won’t stop talking about the new hot hatch coming off the line of Ford’s performance vehicles and can’t wait to hear when the official release date for the Ford Focus RS will be.
There is a lot we already know about the RS that we have shared with you, but as it turns out that there is even more we can tell you. For example, not only is the RS version of the Focus going to have a slightly more powerful EcoBoost engine than the Mustang, it sounds amazing as Block slides his way through Ford’s Cologne plant.
Ken Block finishes his race through the plant by landing the car in the press conference for the reveal of the powerful hatchback. Though we’re happy to see it in action, we will want to see it stacked up against some of the other performance vehicles out there to see how much quicker it is than them. Basically, we know that it will blow away the competition, we just want to see how much better it is.
One thing is for certain. We are looking at the new titan killer of performance vehicles. Other over priced models will have their owners shuddering as they watch the taillights of the Ford Focus RS sail past them. Now we just need to know when we can get our hands on it.
As it is being called the 2017 Ford Focus and the 2016 Ford Focus, it is a safe bet that we will see the RS at some point in 2016. Even better, we will actually be seeing it in the US, but it will be in limited numbers. Don’t worry though, we’ll be keeping our ear to the ground so you can know the exact second it becomes available.
