The American Flag has enjoyed a long and storied history, one that is now under the spotlight at the Tampa Bay History Center. American Flags: The Star & Stripes in American History & Culture, the Tampa Bay History Center’s American Flag exhibit, is going on right now at the Tampa Bay History Center – located at 801 Old Water Street right here in Tampa. And don’t worry if you can’t make it over there soon, as the exhibit will be live now through July 2018.

What is the Tampa Bay History Center’s American Flag Exhibit?

As we mentioned in our introduction, the American Flag has enjoyed a long and storied history, including being the focal point of a revolution, a union, and multiple wars, protests and patriotic displays. All of that is covered in the exhibit – and then some. The exhibit also features multiple original flags from throughout history.
