The 2015 Ford F-150 is now the official vehicle of the 2015 International CES in Las Vegas. As Ford says, the new F-150 is the toughest, smartest and most capable to date. There are a number of exclusive features that make it the great, capable vehicle that it is. Even better, before the international CES you can test drive the Ford F-150 in Tampa at Brandon Ford.
When you arrive and drive the F-150 you will get to experience the class exclusive park assist. This feature helps you park with the help of two ultrasonic sensors that measure the gap between two vehicles and let you know if there is enough room to park. The truck then steers itself into place while you remain in control of the accelerator and brake pedals.
Adaptive cruise control and and collision warning with brake support is also new to the F-150 and another class exclusive feature. Adaptive cruise maintains the trucks distance to vehicles in front of it by slowing when necessary so that cruise does not need to be turned on and off. If the sensors determine that a collision is imminent, it will alert the driver with audio and visual warnings while preparing the vehicle to brake.
Lastly, the most intuitive class exclusive feature, the 360 degree camera with split-view display. This feature is perfect for helping the driver maneuver through tight spots or narrow roads at low speeds. Four cameras give the driver a view of the ground of up to seven feet around the entire vehicle.
