While we have plenty of information about the upcoming 2015 Ford F-150 in Tampa, FL, we continue to get more and more about one of the best things to come out of Ford since the assembly line. That last part might have been a bit of an exaggeration, but not by much. The added fuel economy, the new, stronger aluminum body, and the completely upgraded interior and exterior are all vast improvements over just about anything on the road today all for only a few hundred dollars more than the previous model. And now, with the official Guide Book for the all new, redesigned 2015 Ford F-150, we can exactly how the truck can be tailored to exactly what a customer wants.
With five different trims, each available in Sport or Chrome packages, Ford’s new truck comes in plenty of shapes and sizes, especially adding the FX4 Off-Road option that adds Hill Descent Control, which is an electronic-locking rear axle with off-road shocks and skid plates. Those eleven different options come in 13 available colors, four of which are brand new for the 2015 model. Add on the 14 wheel designs and the variations in what Ford offers is really quite impressive.
Starting from the base XL model, then the XLT, followed by the Lariat, to the perfectly named King Ranch, and finally, topping off at the Platinum addition, each trim adds more and more to the truck. And with so many options, so many colors, and so many trims, its hard not to imagine that there is a perfect truck built just to your specifications waiting out there somewhere.
