2017 Ford Edge Engine Specs and Gas Mileage
Like we said earlier, the 2017 Ford Edge offers you the choice between three powerful and efficient engines for its four trim levels, which are the Edge SE, Edge SEL, Edge Titanium and Edge Sport. The base engine for the new Ford Edge is a twin-scroll turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that offers 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque while getting 20 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. If you go with the 2017 Edge SEL or the 2017 Edge Titanium, a 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine is available, which offers 280 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque while getting 18 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. Last but not least, those choosing the 2017 Edge Sport get a standard twin-turbo 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine capable of pumping out 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque while getting 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.
