How Many Engine Choices are Available for the All-New 2019 Ford Edge Lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa FL?
As it stands right now, there are two 2019 Ford Edge engines available. But it should be noted that that’s all we know about right now, and that engine lineup could easily be added to in the coming months seeing as the 2018 Ford Edge lineup offered the choice between three engines. It could also stay at two, considering how impressive this pair of 2019 Edge engines is. The standard engine for most of the new Ford Edge lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL, is a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine offering 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain will also feature an updated 8-speed automatic transmission and optimized Auto Start-Stop technology, both of which will help provide you with better gas mileage than the 2018 Edge lineup. Then there’s the 2019 Ford Edge ST and its standard 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost engine offering 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain gets a special quick-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-new Sport Mode.
