2019 Ford Ranger Undergoes Rigorous Testing Prior to Its Release

Simply announcing that it is reentering the midsize pickup truck segment with an all-new 2019 Ranger model is really all Ford needs to do to put the rest of the automotive industry on notice. But Ford has never been one to rest on its laurels, which means the company is doing everything in its power to make sure the all-new Ranger lineup lives up to the legacy of lineups like the 2018 Ford F-150 and the 2018 Ford Super Duty. That includes making the 2019 Ford Ranger undergo rigorous testing prior to its release in early 2019. For more on what Ford is making the all-new 2019 Ranger go through, check out the video below.

Ford has said it wants to ensure the 2019 Ranger is ready to take on all jobs in all conditions. To do that, Ford is putting the all-new Ranger through a series of rigorous tests, which you can see in the video below.

“We torture every component – from its high-strength steel frame to its EcoBoost engine to its cloth and leather-trimmed seats – to ensure Ranger is ready for any season and nearly any terrain.” – Rick Bolt, Ford Ranger Chief Engineer
