That’s right, St. Patrick’s Day 2019 is almost upon us – it’s on Sunday, March 17, this year – and that means everyone in and around Tampa is gearing up for the 8th annual Mayor’s River O’Green Fest. But when are this year’s festivities? And what’s all going on during this year’s event? Let’s get the date, time and location specifics out of the way, first, before diving into everything taking place during the event. The 8th annual Mayor’s River O’Green Fest begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park – located at 600 North Ashley Drive in downtown Tampa. If you want to kick things off even earlier, however, the River O’Green Gallop begins at 10 a.m. – with walk-up registration opening at 8:30 a.m. and pre-registered registration opening at 9 a.m.

What’s Happening at the 2019 Mayor’s River O’Green Fest?

We already mentioned the River O’Green Gallop, but what else is taking place during the 8th annual Mayor’s River O’Green Fest? Well, it’s a long list – one that consists of delicious food, refreshing drinks, games and other activities, live music and other entertainment, a leprechaun contest, a family costume contest and much more. The event is free to the public and even open to your favorite four-legged friends.
