7.3L OHV PFI Gas V8
This engine is built for strenuous duty and for hauling heavy loads. This pushrod engine optimizes low-end torque. The 2022 Ford Super Duty has 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.
6.7L Power Stroke Engine
The second engine option provides 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 rpm. This engine has an electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger which improve the 2022 Ford Super Duty’s efficiency and throttle response. This engine also has a 36,000-psi fuel-injection system that optimizes combustion.
6.2L Flex-Fuel Gas V8 Engine
This engine is standard in the 2022 Ford F-250 and 2022 Ford F-350 models. This has the capability to deliver high amount of torque at low rpm. In the 2022 Ford F-250, the transmission is Torqshift G 6-Speed Transmission. The 2022 Ford F-350 has 10-speed Automatic.
What is the Torqshift 10-Speed Automatic Transmission?
All the Super Duty models are equipped with Torqshift 10-speed Automatic Transmission except the 6.2L V8 F-250 engine. There are also five available modes

- Slippery

- Eco
- Deep Sand/snow

Available Off-Road Capability
The 2022 Super Duty with Tremor Off-Road package has a towing of up to 15,000 lbs and can haul up to 4,150 lbs. of payload.
