With that in mind, we decided to come up with this list of three of the best Labor Day 2017 events going on in Tampa, FL. Whether you attend one of these or do something different entirely, just make sure you get out there and live life to the fullest.

Yboar City Bacon, Brew and BBQ Festival
Is a Labor Day Celebration complete without bacon, brews and BBQ? No, it’s not. That’s why you need to make sure you head over to the Yboar City Bacon, Brew and BBQ Festival, taking place from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, at Centro Asturiano de Tampa (1913 North Nebraska Avenue). Admission is free, the festival is as pet friendly as it gets and there will be fun for the whole family, including food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, live music, a rock wall, a shark tank and so much more.
Summer of Rum Festival
If you prefer rum over bacon, brews and BBQ, you need to head on over to the Summer of Rum Festival, located at Curtis Hixon Park in Downtown Tampa. Going on from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, the Summer of Rum features, well, tons of rum, plus live music, a bunch of other tasty drinks, food and so much more. And if you want to exercise a little before you begin celebrating, make sure to sign up for the Rum Run, which beings at 11:30 a.m.
Central Florida Cactus & Succulent Society 23rd Annual Sale
If plants are more your thing, then you’ll want to head over to the Central Florida Cactus & Succulent Society’s 23rd Annual Sale, taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, at the USF Botanical Gardens (12210 USF Pine Drive). Admission is free.
