First up is the 2019 Taste of the Cuban Sandwich extravaganza. Taking place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Centro Asturiano (1913 Nebraska Avenue) in Ybor City, the Taste of the Cuban Sandwich will not only feature 25 Cuban sandwich vendors from all over the world, but also an attempt at making the world’s largest Cuban sandwich. That’s right, you can take part in creating a 175-foot Cuban sandwich that will be used to help feed the hungry in Tampa. A Kids’ Cuban Sandwich Showdown is also taking place. The event is free to the public.
2019 Cuban Sandwich Festival Date, Time and Location Details
The next day, the 8th annual Cuban Sandwich Festival is taking place. More specifically, this festival is taking place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, at Centennial Park – located at 1800 East 8th Avenue in Tampa. This festival will feature a Cuban sandwich competition, Cuban sandwich vendors from all over the world, live music, and arts and crafts booths.
