As summer winds down and the calendar turns from August to the fall months, you might think the amount of fun activities going on in and around Tampa, FL, will begin to decrease. Make sure you have your dance shoes ready for this one, as the Tampa Salsa and Bachata Festival is taking place over Labor Day Weekend. More specifically, it’s happening Sept. 1 – 4 at the Hilton in Downton Tampa (211 North Tampa Street). This festival has it all – live music, instructional dance classes for all levels, professional dance performances and much more.

Tampa Bay Tailgate Taste Fest

All you need is your taste buds for this one. The fourth annual Tampa Bay Tailgate Taste Fest is taking place on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park (600 North Ashley Drive). There will be tons of food, live music and, of course, college football. Lots of college football.

A Night in Venice Masquerade Ball

Support the Brandon Foundation with this special event. The Night in Venice Masquerade Ball takes place on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the T Pepin Hospitality Centre (4121 North 50th Street). The festivities begin with a VIP Reception at 6 p.m. The Gala proper then begins at 7 p.m., going until 10 p.m. Support this wonderful cause by enjoying a night themed after the historical Venetian Carnivals complete with live entertainment, dancing and gourmet food and drink. And don’t forget your masquerade mask.
