As if we weren’t excited enough about the new Ford GT already, Forza 6 has put the supercar on the cover of the latest iteration of the game. Gracing the cover of the new Forza Motorsport game is an honor for any vehicle and this year one of the most anticipated cars for the past nine years has grabbed the spot.

It will likely offer an opportunity for car enthusiasts to experience the GT in all of its glory before the vehicle is released to the public. Though the gameplay for the game won’t be seen until the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June, that is still much closer than next year.

To add to the excitement, the other two performance vehicles revealed in Detroit will be featured as playable vehicles in the game. We also expect there to be a slew of other Ford vehicles available throughout the game. Fans of the Ford Focus RS or possibly even the Fiesta RS will get to use their favorite vehicles in the game.

Forza 6 is pushing the limits just as hard as Ford is this year. Both have advanced significantly in terms of technology and we will be surprised if the game doesn’t flawlessly recreate everything down to the growls and roars of each engine Ford has made. For car lovers that don’t already play video games, it might be time to go and get your hands on the XBOX ONE. Or at least when the new Forza finally comes out.
