So, let’s get right down to it. The base 2020 Ford Explorer model, the 2020 Ford Explorer XLT and the 2020 Ford Explorer Limited all feature a 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine offering a horsepower rating of 300 and a torque rating of 310 pound-feet. The 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum features a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine offering a horsepower rating of 365 and a torque rating of 380 pound-feet.
