Examining the Historical Importance of the Ford Taurus
As we mentioned in our introduction, the Ford Taurus was revealed to the world during the 1985 Los Angeles Auto Show. By the time 1992 came rolling around, the Taurus had become America’s best-selling car. The Taurus went on hiatus from 2006 until being completely remade in 2008. But now, Ford is moving its focus to truck and utility lineups, which means it’s time for the Taurus to take its final bow.
