Examining the Four New EV Drive Modes for the All-New 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid Models at Brandon Ford in Tampa FL
There is a total of four all-new EV Drive Modes that you can utilize with the new Ford Escape lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL. They are Auto EV Mode, EV Now Mode, EV Later Mode, and EV Charge Mode. But just seeing the names of these new EV Drive Modes probably doesn’t mean anything to you, so let’s check out what each one does. Auto EV Mode puts the decision-making in the hands of your all-new 2020 Escape, meaning the vehicle will decide whether to use the gas engine or electric power to power your 2020 Escape. EV Now Mode is pretty self-explanatory, as engaging it means your 2020 Escape is running on electric power only. EV Later Mode is, obviously, the opposite of EV Now Mode, as it conserves your all-electric miles for later while engaging the gas-powered engine of your 2020 Escape. Finally, there’s EV Charge Mode, which allows you to charge your battery and gain electric miles to utilize later while engaging the gas-powered engine of your all-new Escape.
