If you haven’t heard about the new Ford F-150, you likely haven’t been paying very close attention to Ford this past year. If you didn’t see the new TV ad for the new pickup, then you weren’t watching any football games on NYE. The new aluminum body has allowed for the creation of the best mixture of power and fuel efficiency in a pickup.
For those that don’t know, the Ford F-150 with the aluminum body was tested more thoroughly than any other vehicle to come out of Ford. Not only that, it’s creation resulted in 100 different patents. Ford really took their time with the small details to make an overall, great vehicle.
In the ad, you see Ford’s pickup rolling through mud, gravel and on pavement, showing that the pickup has been designed to it all, anywhere at anytime. It is loaded up with just about every toy and tool you could picture yourself using and we have to say that it looks beautiful while it does it. We don’t get to see all of the patents, but we assume they have something to do with many of the great features, like the 360-degree view cameras and park assist sonars.
On top of that you get to see the ease at which some features are used, like the power liftgate that comes down at the press of a button, allowing you to take as few trips as possible. The truck works as hard and as smart as possible and we’re excited for you to finally get your hands on one.
