The New Ford Mustang

The 2015 Ford Mustang
The 2015 Ford Mustang will be added to the Ford car lineup soon. We’ve already gotten a look at it and after the auction at EAA some lucky guy or gal already owns one. We’re excited for it to come to our lot and we’re sure you are too. It’s hard not to be excited about the new Ford Mustang. The Mustang has been around for a long time and every iteration of it has taken us one step further to where we are now.
This new one has jumped a few steps. The design of this years model is aircraft inspired and the changes feel purposeful. It’s looking wilder than ever and we can’t get enough of it. There is nothing that says throwback on the body this year, but the hood still reaches out ahead of the driver seat to give it that muscular look. HID headlamps give the vehicle a predator’s gaze. Each side of the side of the Mustang is marked with the number 50 in honor of it’s half century history.
The interior has also seen some improvements, but the main areas to focus on are more utilitarian rather than aesthetic. There is now more room for you in the car and handling the shifter has been made easier. A dedicated sunglasses holder has also been added along with charge ports and a glove box that can be locked.
In terms of performance the Mustang GT still has a 5.0L V-8 engine. However, it has
been given an increase of 15hp and 10lb-ft. This is thanks to improvements to the engine that have made the intake ports straighter in the cylinder head and a new intake manifold that has made the air-fuel mixture better. Not only did this result in more power, but the fuel economy has also been increased.
Realizing cars have to be more than just fun, a number of safety features have also been given to the Ford muscle car. Front collision warning and blind-spot monitoring are just a couple of them. Though we doubt anyone will even be in front of you if you’re driving the GT.
