What’s All Featured in the Ford Co-Pilot360 Safety Suite?
Ford has always been at the forefront of automotive safety, but they’re taking their industry-leading safety standing to a whole new level with the unveiling of the all-new Ford Co-Pilot360 Safety Suite. While it’s got a fun name, the name doesn’t tell you much about what you’re getting with it. That’s why we decided to take a closer look at what’s all featured in the Ford Co-Pilot360 Safety Suite right here.

While the all-new Ford Co-Pilot360 Safety Suite boasts an incredibly impressive list of new safety and driver assistance features, the most impressive part about the new suite is that it will be standard on multiple new Ford cars, trucks and SUVs – starting with the all-new 2019 Ford Fusion and 2019 Ford Edge ST. What’s so impressive about that fact is that, while many other automotive companies offer similar but less-impressive versions of these safety and driver assistance systems, none offer all of them standard on new models. That’s because the Ford-Co-Pilot360 Safety Suite includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection capabilities, a blind spot information system with cross traffic alert capabilities, a lane keeping system, automatic high beams, and a reverse camera. Toyota comes the closest to offering a similar safety suite, but fails to offer a standard blind spot information system.
“Though our vehicles today are safer than ever, drivers tell us they are still stressed about getting in a potential accident. That’s one reason why we’re making these must-have technologies accessible to millions of customers each year.” – Jim Farley, Ford President, Global Markets
