The 2015 Ford F-150 vs the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado
The battle for the best pickup has been going on for a long time. These vehicles continually compete to shed weight to improve fuel economy, while increasing power to make it possible to tow even more. To shed some light on the current state of things we’re comparing the 2015 Ford F-150 vs the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. It is a close race between the two trucks, especially since we don’t yet know the fuel economy for the F-150. However, we do know that Ford has reduced the weight of the truck by 700 lbs. and given it two options for EcoBoost engines.
The Silverado does have an engine option that provides more torque than the F-150 and it is a V8. However, the F-150’s strongest engine is a V6 EcoBoost engine and can tow 200 lbs more than the Silverado’s V8. We are also hoping that it will be more efficient than the Silverado’s V6 option, which would give you the best of both worlds.
