2016 Ford Focus options and trims
The 2016 Ford Focus comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine standard. New for 2016 is the inclusion of a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 30 city mpg and an astounding 42 highway mpg. This engine even comes with an automatic six-speed transmission as an option.
There is also an all-electric option with 75 miles of range, 110 MPGe rating in the city, and a 99 MPGe rating on the highway. Ford is proving that a lot can be done with a compact car.
One cool option is Ford’s MyKey system. For parents giving teens their first ride, MyKey is a huge advantage. This allows the parent to put limits on speed, radio volume, and radio content. It can even be programmed to provide more frequent seatbelt reminders, speed chimes, earlier low-fuel warning, and other optional settings. Ford has made the perfect system for the inexperienced driver.
The 2016 Ford Focus is among the many Ford vehicles getting an upgrade to SYNC3 this year. Now the SYNC console will respond better than ever before. With a revamped menu system, the SYNC3 system can recognize many of the same movements and gestures that would be used on a smartphone. Making this one of the most intuitive compact cars out there.
The 2016 Ford Focus comes with a myriad of options. Not only is it a compact 4-door sedan, but it’s also a sweet hatchback. There are three regular trim levels, S, SE, and Titanium. The 4-door sedan comes in all flavors, but the hatchback only comes in SE and Titanium.
Then there are the big brothers. The heart pumping and mind bending Ford Focus ST and RS. Some of the greatest automotive engineers to ever walk this earth got together and designed these two stunning machines. They are bred for the track, and they are ready to tear the road in half. These cars are not for the weak hearted. Sit back and witness as they put a completely new twist on what being a performance car actually means.
