2017 Ford Focus vs 2017 Chevrolet Cruze

One of our favorite models here at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL, is the 2017 Ford Focus. One of the main reasons for that is versatility, as you can customize your new Ford Focus virtually any way you want. In fact, your 2017 Focus can come as a sedan, hatchback or electric vehicle. Beyond just that, you can also choose between the performance-based 2017 Focus ST and Focus RS models. In other words, no matter what kind of car you’re looking for, the 2017 Focus lineup has a model for you.

Now, Ford’s competition will also tout their versatility, but quite honestly, nothing comes close to the new Focus. Take the Chevy Cruze for example. Like the Focus, the new Cruze is offered as either a sedan or a hatchback. It even offers a diesel model. But unlike the new Focus lineup, the 2017 Cruze lineup does not offer electric or performance-based trim levels. With that out of the way, let’s check out all the ways the Focus is a better choice than the Cruze with this 2017 Ford Focus versus 2017 Chevrolet Cruze head-to-head model lineup comparison.

The 2017 Chevy Cruze Premier gives you the most horsepower out of its lineup, though it only offers 153 horsepower.
