The base 2017 Ford Focus model features a standard 2.0-liter Ti-VCT Inline-4 engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission capable of offering 160 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque while getting an amazingly impressive 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway. That’s fuel economy your wallet is going to love. But if you’re more focused on power and performance, then the 2017 Ford Focus RS is right for you. The new Ford Focus RS features a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission capable of offering 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. That power does mean you’ll be sacrificing some of that gas mileage, however, as the 2017 Focus RS gets 19 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway. Still efficient, just not as efficient.
