2017 Ford Focus: More Power and Comparable Gas Mileage for Less Money
Let’s continue talking about affordability by beginning our comparison with a look at the starting price of the two models. The 2017 Ford Focus starts at $17,650, which is just under $2,000 less than the 2017 Honda Civic’s $19,615 starting price. It should be pretty obvious why we’re talking about affordability so much. Now, we’ll back up our claim that the new Ford Focus outperforms the new Honda Civic, even with that price discrepancy.
Let’s now switch over to performance, where the 2017 Ford Focus once again takes the cake by offering more horsepower and more torque than the 2017 Honda Civic. More specifically, the 2017 Focus provides 160 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque, compared to only 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque from the new Civic.
