What’s Under the Hood of the 2019 Ford Mustang Lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa FL?

There are many reasons why people choose to purchase a new Ford Mustang here at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL. One of the most popular reasons is that people want to be taken on the ride of their life each and every time they turn the key.

And that’s exactly what you’re going to get with a 2019 Mustang, no matter which of its three engine options you choose. Speaking of those three engine options, let’s check out just how powerful and fun to drive they are.

The standard engine on the lower 2019 Mustang trim levels is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that can pump out 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. If you move up the 2019 Ford Mustang trim level ladder, you’ll get a standard 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine that can pump out 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Last but certainly not least, the 2019 Mustang lineup will eventually feature a supercharged 5.2-liter Coyote V8 engine, though since it won’t be released until later in the model year, we don’t know its horsepower and torque ratings at this time.

Those engines can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a ten-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. The 2019 Ford Mustang lineup’s powertrains also feature five performance settings to utilize while you’re out on the road. These settings include a Normal Mode, a Track Mode and a Drag Strip Mode.
