The question of which SUV is more powerful and more spacious is a straightforward one, so we’re going to give you a straightforward answer – the 2021 Ford Escape. But we’re also going to show you how we came to that conclusion.
Both SUV lineups give you the choice between two engines. The most powerful 2021 Ford Escape engine features a horsepower rating of 250 and a torque rating of 275 pound-feet. The most powerful 2021 Chevy Equinox engine features a horsepower rating of 252 and a torque rating of 260 pound-feet.
