What Are the Ford Pro Power Onboard Features and Capabilities?

To put it simply — Ford Pro Power Onboard™ uses innovative technology to turn your Ford vehicle into a mobile power source that can power electronics on a jobsite or at a campsite, and is available in popular Ford vehicles, like the 2026 Ford F-150. With access to conveniently-located power outlets, owners can recharge power tools, power small appliances like a TV or electric grill, and power essential equipment during a blackout. 

Ford Pro Power Onboard™ features are managed by the Ford SYNC® touchscreen display in the cabin of your Ford vehicle, by the mobile FordPass App, or by an in-bed power panel. With available Ford Pro Power Onboard™, you will have access to 120-volt and 20-amp power outlets in the bed or cabin of your vehicle. Ford electric vehicles with Pro Power Onboard™ provide access to power outlets in the front trunk.

Ford vehicles equipped with Ford Pro Power Onboard™ provide five different power levels to choose from that will vary based on the model and trim level:

  • 400-Watt
  • 2.0-Kilowatt
  • 2.4-Kilowatt
  • 7.2-Kilowatt
  • 9.6-Kilowatt
